About Junior Reps

Playing Junior Representative cricket for Manly Warringah is the highest cricket honour you can recieve within the Manly Warringah area.

With teams from U/11s through to U/16s in boys, and U13s and U/15s in girls, the Junior Representative arm of the Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association administers these competitions.

We play again all other districts from not only around Sydney, but as far away as Newcastle and Illawarra.

Junior Representative Cricket for Manly Warringah is the stepping stone to higher honours. Performance here is the main selection criteria that we use to select the Green and Brewer Shield squads, which are administered under the Manly Warringah grade club.

Form here the stepping stone is into grade cricket for the Waratahs for the boys/men’s, with a girls grade club part of our strategic priorities to create an end to end local pathway for women’s cricket.

Our Junior Representative teams are chosen from players from the 11 local clubs. These are:

  1. Beacon Hill
  2. Collaroy Plateau
  3. Cromer
  4. Forest
  5. Harbord
  6. Peninsula
  7. SKEGGS
  8. Seaforth
  9. St Augustines
  10. St Pius
  11. Wakehurst

Representing Manly Warringah is a huge honour and many great Manly players (current and former) have done so. The players coming through the Manly Warringah Junior Representative system are the future of our club, and we wish them all the best for the coming 2017/18 season.
