Photos: Rd 14 - 1st Grade, Manly 85 and 3/234 loss to St George 361

Sorry to say there was not much good news to report from Manly Oval. St George bowled well on a wicket that had a bit in it early to restrict Manly to just 85 runs. In order to avoid more pain our boys fought back hard in the 2nd Inns to end up 3/234. Fine knocks from Capt'n Darren Wotherspoon (94) and Scott Patterson (69) in a 141 run partnership were the highlights of the day. Tim Cruickshank (31no) and Jack Ritchie (20no) batted well to hold off St George who were looking for an outright victory
